Communication studies is more than speaking, listening and writing. It is about the very nature of communication itself - what is being communicated in various contexts and how communication takes place in interpersonal, organizational and mass media settings.
Communication is also about the relations between and among people including the reporting, interviewing, organizing and recording of events and actions in print, on film, video and digital media. It involves relationships between persuasion and influence on a personal level and in advertising and public relations.
