Canisius history graduates pursue graduate work and a variety of professions. Seven history majors have won Fulbright Scholarships to universities in Germany, Belgium and Canada. Recent graduates are currently studying in graduate history programs at Brown University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Minnesota and University of California at Riverside. Others have gone on to graduate work in fields as diverse as education, urban planning, business, medicine and pharmacy. Our graduates hold such positions as: Paris Bureau chief, The New York Times; reporter, USA Today; Intelligence analyst, U.S. Navy Office of Naval Intelligence; senior planner, Architectural Resources; and chair of history and political science, Gannon University.
