ALANA students can choose to become active in a number of clubs and organizations depending upon their interests. These include:
Afro-American Society
The Afro-American Society supports its members by informally presenting academic seminars and workshops and coordinating cultural events for such occasions as African American History Month. Asian American Society
The purpose of the Asian American Society is to expose Canisius students to the cultures of the East: China, Japan, Russia and other Asian Countries. Members of the Society conduct functions such as sponsoring guest speakers and hosting cultural events observing Asian holidays and celebrations.

Canisius College Gospel Ensemble
The ensemble provides fall and spring choral performances for the College and the Western New York community. These performances reflect traditional and contemporary compositions of the African American experience. Club Advisor: Ms. Alberta Kelley

The Step Team (G-Squad) provides an opportunity for those interested in step and dance. The G-Squad presents different forms of step-dancing for the school and community at various events.

L.A.S.A.F. (Latin American Students and Friends)
The purpose of L.A.S.A.F. is to promote the culture and language of Hispanic countries around the world. The club coordinates events such as Fiesta Latina, Taco and Sangria Night, annual club dinners, ethnic conferences, speaker series, and holiday events. Club Advisor: Ms. Petrea Rae (Anderson)

Native American Circle
The Native American Circle was formed in 1991. "The Native American Circle was created to give Canisius College students the opportunity to learn and explore indigenous peoples, not only from North American, but the world."
