The Society of Physics Students (SPS) is the national student association of physics majors. The SPS offers opportunities for technical tours, lectures and social activities. Members of this group attend meetings, present papers, sponsor visiting speakers and recently toured the Laser Energetics Lab at the University of Rochester.
Students enrolled in the 3+2 dual degree physics/engineering program with University at Buffalo (SUNY) are also invited to participate in student organizations hosted at UB, including Engineers Without Borders, Engineers for a Sustainable World, and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
