Technology plays an integral role in all aspects of the college experience at Canisius.  Academic buildings are equipped with the latest technological resources to help supplement classroom education and assist in research at all levels. Many classrooms have been remodeled and rewired to include DVD and VHS players, state-of-the-art projection systems, and desktop Internet and network access.

Computer labs, open to all enrolled students, are equipped with both IBM/PC and Macintosh computers.  All labs and residence halls provide e-mail and Internet connectivity via high speed communications lines as well as access to the on-line Library catalog and research resources.  Wireless zones are located throughout the campus.

All of Canisius' residence halls are wired for the Internet via the college's high-speed Internet line.  Resident students never have to leave their rooms to  quickly access the resources of the World Wide Web and the Canisius library, or write to out-of-town loved ones and friends by e-mail.

The Media Center provides the college community with a variety of multi-media services and state of the art equipment including digital cameras and video recorders.
